Enjoy a 7-day (6-night) tour of Puglia and discover some of southern Italy’s most beautiful towns. Spend the night in a boutique cave hotel, pamper yourself with spa treatments and taste the wines and food of the region with inclusive meals, including dinner in a 5-star hotel converted from a former monastery dating back to the Middle Ages. Day 1 (Monday): Following your arrival at Bari or Brindisi Airport, transfer to the luxury country resort of Masseria Boezio in Ostuni. Tour “La Citta Bianca” and then enjoy a wine tasting and dinner at a former medieval monastery in the 5-star La Sommita hotel in the old town. Day 2 (Tuesday): Explore the medieval town of Cisternino, before a tour and lunch in Martina Franca. Return to Ostuni in the afternoon and enjoy dinner in the garden at Masseria Boezio. Day 3 (Wednesday): Transfer to Lecce to discover the “Florence of Southern Italy.” Visit the old town and its Baroque cathedrals. Then enjoy a wine tasting and lunch at the Duca Guarini Winery. Explore the medieval seaside town of Castro and its beautiful cathedral before you enjoy dinner. Return to the Duca Guarini guesthouse for the evening. Day 4 (Thursday): Visit Castel di Salve near Tricase for a wine tasting. Then, enjoy lunch at Sergio’s, known for serving the best fish in Otranto. Explore the old town and castle, before a dinner at Le Zie in Lecce. Return to the Duca Guarini guesthouse for the evening. Day 5 (Friday): Transfer to Savelletri to stay at one of three 5-star golf hotels (depending on availability): Torre Coccaro, San Domenico, or Borgobianco. Pamper yourself at the spa and enjoy massage treatments. Dinner will be served in Polignano a Mare. Day 6 (Saturday): Travel to Matera to explore the old town. Dine on homemade pasta and local meat specialties at the well-known trattoria of Falco Grillaio. Enjoy a wine tasting of organic wines in Gravina. Then, spend the night in a boutique cave hotel for a unique and dreamlike experience amongst the Grotta di Sassi (Caves of Sassi). Day 7 (Sunday): Transfer to Bari and take a tour of the town and its cathedral. Alternatively, enjoy Bari’s world-class shopping before your transfer to the airport.
